Belt buckle

Madeline Yale Wynne's buckle, constructed of pierced cast silver and set with three natural turquoise pebbles, exudes the confidence and harnessed abandon that is characteristic of so much of her exquisite metalwork. The harmony of the piece is underscored by a balanced three-part rectangular shape and a trio of stones forming a band across its middle. Randomly-shaped holes blanket and activate the surface of the piece, each tiny pierce mark echoing, in diminished scale, the organically-contoured bezels, formed with intention to house very individual stones.
